Project Info

Chinese “successology” is spreading fast. Motivational speakers promise instant wealth and happiness. Listeners picture themselves as winners before doing any work. My project is FoodHall, pronounced “富得好”—literally “rich and fine.” FoodHall is a virtual cafeteria where slogans are served like dishes. Visitors “eat success” instead of real food.

Outcome

The work shows China’s appetite for quick fixes and makes clear that these shortcut claims rarely translate into real success. It asks viewers to question this trend and look for real, lasting growth.
