Fables of the Monsters is a short 3D animation set in a speculative future shaped by the ecological shifts of the Anthropocene. In this world, humans can no longer survive in physical form. Through a ritual at a monolithic altar, they slowly transition into gas—dispersing into the atmosphere as a means of continuing life. The work explores themes of transformation, survival, and the fading boundary between the human and the nonhuman. It reimagines the Anthropocene not as a collapse, but as a strange evolution—told through a quiet, myth-like narrative.
